Enterprise - Event invites

Seeing as Cherry was struggling at producing the design work in the time scale set, I decided to take it upon myself to start designing for the 'Mock brief' event we had set ourselves, thinking about content, the event itself, and what we would need, I designed a invitation pack, which included a fold out, pop up theatre-eqsue stand, which when opened revealed a invitation being held by the packaging itself. I have incorporated the branding of 'Carriagework' and 'Fourth Wall' into one, using ours and Carriageworks colour palette and typefaces to make one, stand alone piece. I have also created a business card for Carriageworks, almost re-branding it in effectance of the event taking place.

Constructing the work, with a little help from Liam.

Enterprise - Creating an Event

As a group, we all decided that we needed to push our business further, to prove that it can work. We decided that were going to begin designing an event for a previously researched location, which could use our help in terms of services, branding and identity. This as an event will promote both Carriage Works and ourselves, as a business, to the public and surrounding businesses.

Carriage Works was researched by Chris and was found to have very little reputation, me, myself had never heard of it, and from the outside of the building, you would never know a theatre was within it.

Liam has certainly taken the leader role of this project, in coming up with ideas and a brief. By doing so we can prove we, as a business, can work. The deisgn work we intend to undertake consists of:
- Business cards
- Promotional material (posters, invites)
- Display
- Window Graphics

Carriageworks

Brief

Design and promote an event for the Carriageworks theatre in Leeds to attract attention to the establishment and to the Fourth Wall Brand

Background / Considerations

We have partnered with the Carriageworks theatre to raise awareness to their location and what they offer. The theatre is losing business to The Grand and the Playhouse so we have come to a mutual agreement to help each other. We need to create an event to which industry professionals and selected members of the community will attend.

For our services, we will be offering them free of charge for the benefit of promoting ourselves throughout the chosen media or campaigns, which we create for them.

Practical Considerations

We must use their logo and colour throughout the range that we create.

Think about target audience, we need to appeal to the owners of the Carriageworks and make industry professionals from outside the organisation aspire to have us design for them as well.

Mandatory Requirements

A fully functioning campaign
Invitations
Posters
Business cards

Deadline

Tuesday 28th February
