I really love Jessica's style of typography, its decorative, flowing and simply beautiful. I want to create something like this for my own identity, to use as a logo.

Last summer I undertook a paid temporary job at 02, to design, draw up and paint a wall mural. They has an existing idea from their current branding, but we let them know we needed original designs to be able to scale it up to wall size. The original designers had copyright on the design, so we had to create our own digital file. This was then projected piece by piece onto the wall, for us to draw up. 

We discussed a time scale and payment for the job with the creative manager at 02 Arlingdale business park. It was to take 2 -3 weeks, of which we agreed to come in for several hours a day. There was no written contract, or structured timescale of when we were to come in. This immediately became an issue when the wall took longer to finish than expected, and we weren't going to be paid anymore. There also became an issue with the way we were being treated. bits of work which took several days to paint, the manager would come over and expect us to simply change the colour as she didn't quite like it, so each time this happened, we were behind schedule. Ideally we should have made a contract to be signed of the design specs, colour, pay and days and hours of work. 

I spoke to the creative managers, manager speaking about the issue and she found it unacceptable so had words. By the end of it, we were given a small amount of pay, and a free phone for 'our trouble'. I certainly learned a lot about the frustration of working with clients, and the importance of communication and contracts.
